In late 2019 this financial services company was exploring a better way for their sales team to present investment strategies to their clients. This meant rethinking the way content was presented during video conferencing, and reimagining the in meeting experience for financial advisors and sales. The company aimed to enhance the effectiveness of remote presentations and improve the overall meeting experience for both financial advisors and clients.

The team conducted an observational study with a group of 20 remote wholesalers to understand their sales call processes and pain points.

Prototyping

Based on the research, the team developed an application supporting both web and native iPad use, ensuring flexibility for various user preferences.

Iterate

Multiple prototypes were created and refined based on user feedback, allowing for continuous improvement of the design.

Launch

An initial Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was launched in January 2020, allowing for real-world use and further refinement.

What began as a forward-thinking pilot project to improve sales presentations became a crucial tool that enabled our client to thrive during unprecedented global challenges faced during the COVID pandemic.
